The offices will open the following day on Thursday, but Friday and Saturday are weekends. The next day (Sunday) is Eid-e-Miladunnabi.<\/p>\n<p>Both government and private offices are set to resume work from Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Nusrat, a tourist who came to visit Rangamati from Cox&#8217;s Bazar, said: &#8220;Whenever we get government holidays, we try to visit different tourist spots of the country. This time I got a long vacation so I came to enjoy the natural beauty of Rangamati.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another tourist, Md Rashed, said: \u201cRangamati hanging bridge (Jhulonto Bridge) is very beautiful. Besides that, I also love Rajban Bihar Pagoda and Shuvolong Waterfalls a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sajek Valley<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Liza, another tourist who went to the tourist spot from Dhaka, said that Rangamati is one of the best examples of God&#8217;s beautiful creations. The clear waters of Kaptai lake really charmed me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At present, some 60-70% of government rest houses and residential hotels in the district are booked.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the manager of Rangamati\u2019s \u201cNaujan Ghat\u201d, Md. Ramzan Ali, said that Rangamati always witnesses a good number of tourists during public holidays including puja holidays. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the ghat, tourists take boats to visit Kaptai Lake and Shuvolong Waterfalls,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Srijan Bikash, manager of Rangamati Tourism Corporation, said that currently 80% of motel rooms are booked. <\/p>\n<p>He said that hundreds of tourists visited the hanging bridge on Friday, and authorities are hoping that the number of tourists will increase in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>Rangamati is one of the crown jewels of the Chittagong Hill Tracts area.<\/p>\n<p>The pristine beauty of Kaptai Lake, and the mesmerizing Sajek Valley attract thousands of local and foreign tourists every year.<\/p>\n<p>After the signing of the CHT Peace Accord in 1997, tourism in Rangamati was considered and discussed as the most promising sector.
