{"id":1434,"date":"2023-03-13T11:37:01","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T11:37:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ttw.com.bd\/?p=1434"},"modified":"2023-03-13T11:38:45","modified_gmt":"2023-03-13T11:38:45","slug":"air-astra-to-start-flights-on-dhaka-sylhet-route-from-feb-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ttw.com.bd\/?p=1434","title":{"rendered":"Air Astra to start flights on Dhaka-Sylhet route from Feb 23"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Air Astra, the country&#8217;s newest private airline, has decided to operate flights on Dhaka-Sylhet-Dhaka route from February 23.<\/p>\n<p>Initially the airliner will operate two daily flights on this new route, a press release issued by the airliner confirmed today<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on November 24 last year, the carrier started its maiden commercial operation with a flight on the Dhaka-Cox&#8217;s Bazar route.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were able to add a new domestic destination just after three months of the inaugural as Air Astra got its third narrow body ATR 72-600 aircraft,&#8221; Air Astra&#8217;s Chief Executive Officer Imran Asif said.<\/p>\n<p> The airliner also operates flights on the Dhaka-Cox&#8217;s Bazar-Dhaka an d Dhaka-Chattogram-Dhaka route daily.<\/p>\n<p>Air Astra aims to achieve the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Programme within the first year of operation as the first ever private carrier of Bangladesh.<br \/>\nIOSA is an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation system design provided by International Air Transport Association (IATA).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Air Astra, the country&#8217;s newest private airline, has decided to operate flights on Dhaka-Sylhet-Dhaka route from February 23.
