Shakawath Hossain, as co-chairman of its standing committee for planning and development.<\/p>\n<p>The appointee, Hossain, chief executive officer of Unique Hotel and Resorts PLC, is the first Bangladeshi to be assigned in this role, a press release said.<\/p>\n<p>He previously worked in different capacities in Marriott International and Starwood Hotels and Resorts during his over 20 years of professional career in the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA) appointed Md.
