The 47th national mourning day was observed by the Uttara Officers Club, Dhaka on August 15, 2022. In this connection the national flag was flown at half-mast in the club premises at Sector 15 followed by prayer seeking the salvation of the souls of Bangabandhu and his family members who were brutally killed by a cabal of Bangladesh Army Officers on the fateful day at Bangabandhu\u2019s official residence in Dhanmondi. This was followed by a discussion meeting when members of the club mostly, retired and serving officers, discussed about different aspect of the life and achievement of Bangabandhu.<\/p>\n
This discussion meeting was presided over by Dr. Mohammad Rarun-ur-Rashid, a retired Secretary of the Government and Vice-President of the club and was conducted by Khan Mohammad Belal, a retired Additional Secretary, who is the Secretary of the Club.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
