US-Bangla Airlines celebrates 9th anniversary.
US-Bangla Airlines, a prominent airline in the country is celebrating its ninth anniversary as it enters its tenth year of operation on Monday. The airline extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all its well-wishers on this occasion.
US-Bangla Airlines operates domestic flights from Dhaka to various destinations such as Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, Barishal, and Rajshahi. Additionally, within two years of its establishment, the airline expanded to international routes, including Kolkata, Chennai, Male, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, and Guangzhou. Looking ahead, US-Bangla Airlines has plans to operate flights to Delhi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Abu Dhabi in the near future. The airline aims to add six wide-body aircraft to its fleet this year and has ambitious plans to expand its operations to destinations in Europe such as London and Rome by 2024, and to New York and Toronto by 2025.
Currently, the US-Bangla fleet consists of 19 aircraft, including Boeing 737-800, ATR 72-600, and Dash8-Q400 models. The airline prides itself on its excellent on-time performance, having achieved a record of operating more than 90 percent on-time flights since its inception. To enhance customer convenience, US-Bangla Airlines offers online ticket booking through its website and mobile app. It has over 40 sales offices located both in Bangladesh and abroad. The airline also provides a frequent flyer program called ‘Skystar’ for loyal passengers. In its continuous efforts to enhance its services, US-Bangla Airlines has plans to establish its own Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) facility soon. Furthermore, the airline is taking initiatives to establish a flying school and an engineering school to contribute to the development of skilled human resources.
